Have a really interesting past week. But time seems to pass esp slowly went 2006 comes to an end and 2007 quietly approach us. hehe
25th Dec
It was Xmas day, but I woke up at 4am in the morning, to go to KL with my family except my bro. Due to the caculation of the expenses spend, we decided to drive up to KL then took plane from Airasia to Penang. Since is only 3 hrs car ride up to KL so is still far more cheaper than taking a direct plane from Johor to Penang. Reached Penang at 12 plus, and settled down. Then we go to the nearby hawker at once to taste the local deliciaces!!! haha Though we can eat them here, but will I guess they have a more "penang taste" haha. Then dad took some maps, and look at the tourist attractions as stated, and after much discussion, we decided to go to the stated attractions by foot!!! haha cuz the hotel we stayed in is just in the centre of the city, so actually is not very far if we go there by foot. and that save us a huge amt of cab fees or whatever tour fees, and we settle all our meals at the local hawkers and coffee shops, and I must say the food is really nice, or rather, have a different taste from what we have it here.
26th Dec
Dad, Mum and Sis went for business meeting (actually that's the main purpose of this trip!!!) so half day gone, and later we continue to walk to the remaining attractions, and yea!!! I feel so proud I'm able to lead them streets by streets without getting lost at all. I wonder is the map detail or it is what I learn in geography lesson is not wasted after all. haha and then went to this famous seaside Gurney Drive and Gurney plaza at night to shop ard and eat (again!!) since the hotel got a free shuttle trip to there for us. And when we about to leave for hotel, whereby the hotel will come and fetch us, we actually got irritated by an Indonesian Chinese. Well, I'm not against ALL Indonesian Chinese, only the particular guy we met then! we are suppose to get up the free shuttle van from the hotel, and I dont know how this guy and his other 5 family members get up with us when the van was only suppose to fetch 4 of us. Most probably is that they called the hotel and wanted a trip back, which cost money for them of cause, and some miscommunication btw them and the hotel, and they squeeze in with us back to the hotel.
Is not the lack of space in the van or something, is the attitude! Throughout the whole ride back to the hotel, which is like 15 mins, the guy keep complaining and looked at us as if we are the ones who are so shameless to tag on to the van they "booked". He keep saying in Indonesian Malay, thinking we dont know what the hell he's talking about, but unfortunately, my dad and my mum and sis understand FULLY!!! He's totally rude and shameless and I dont know what the hell he's thinking about since he got the trip back to the hotel already!!!! then when we reach the hotel, he wanted to pay the driver, the driver who is then pissed with him and his family too, say it on his face that is free!!! telling him that is his fault who get on the van, and he's in the wrong, NOT US! then he quickly dashed to the lift with his family. We are so pissed and angry that we actually got insulted by this lowdown guy!!! we quickly told the hotel staff, and all of them know us and they know is the guy who's in the wrong.
Hai so Dramatic right?
27th Dec
Off to the last 2 attractions, Penang Hill and a Kek Long Si temple. Had a full day out and really tired. But happy, 'cause I'm going home tml!!!!
28th Dec
Off to the airport in the morning at 10. BUT Again the dramatic stuffs happen aagin. the plane got delay for 2 hours, and later for one hour more so totally we spend 5 hrs waiting at the airport, with not much shops available like coffee bean or whatsoever. because of this delay, we reached KL in the late afternoon and have dinner with my dad's relative and by the time we drive down, I reach home at 12 midnight, and I miss my 10pm HK show!!! hahahha
29th Dec
Went to meet the long time no see Co Op peeps at Orchard. Have a lotsa of fun at Cineleisure and Partyworld singing. I must say, they are still so familiar as in no communication breakdowns or whatso ever even after almost a year not meeting up. And JASLINE ANg, you are great in bringing up the atmosphere!!!! haha Meet up soon babe.

The Co-op buddies!!This one week must be the MOST INTERESTIng week of my life in 2006. I hope it will be like that every week in 2007. 1 MORE DAY TO 2007. CHEERs everyone!!!
